Matthew P. Kraeuter is the Chief Executive Officer of Great Outdoor Cottages, LLC (GOC), a Georgetown, Delaware, based manufacturer of homes, cottages, cabins, and accessory dwelling units (ADUs). In addition to the overall management and strategic direction of the company, he is responsible for expanding the product portfolio and geographic reach while instilling operational excellence and core values. Matt has also become involved in various workforce and attainable housing initiatives including the Maryland ADU Policy Task Force and nonprofit initiatives. Prior to joining GOC, Matt was an attorney in private practice with a primary focus in advising manufacturers and defense contractors among other industries. Matt began his legal career serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul W. Grimm of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Following his clerkship, Matt joined a national law firm representing energy companies and other large enterprises. Following his time at the firm, Matt joined a federal defense contractor as its general counsel where he was an integral part of the management team.
Matt earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Delaware and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Although currently residing in Ocean City, Maryland, with his wife and two sons, he is a native-born Delawarean who spent his entire early life and through college in Newark.
