Originally from Reading, Pa., Lisa Wheeler attended Wilson High School, graduating in 2000. She attended Kutztown University, majoring in food & restaurant hospitality. Her experience in food service began immediately after graduation, in a management position with a popular national restaurant chain in West Lawn, Pa. Wheeler was asked to move to Delaware to work as the general manager of a busy store front, and remained in this role for seven years. She learned all aspects of the corporate restaurant industry on an operational level, and gained invaluable experience in customer service.
Wheeler began working for the SoDel Concepts restaurants group in the spring of 2010. In 2011, she took over as the general manager of Fish On and in the fall of 2012 was promoted to the catering director for Plate Catering, which works out of Fish On. In 2016, Lisa was again promoted to the position of human resources director for SoDel Concepts. She now oversees every aspect of employment of over 1,800 people who work under the SoDel umbrella.
Wheeler currently lives in Lincoln with her husband Dan and their three children.
