Josh GrapskiWith over 25 years of restaurant experience from dishwasher to business owner, Josh Grapski is currently a managing partner of La Vida Hospitality. He is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a bachelor’s degree in food and beverage and the Philadelphia Restaurant School with a degree in culinary arts.
Josh has worked with a range of highly reputable restaurant companies to obtain a broad base of operational and business understanding. His experience included Chili’s, Aramark, the1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, GA, and Le Cirque 2000. In 1998, Josh co-founded Leirum LLC and a brand of full-service hospitality establishments named Muriel’s. Holdings included Muriel’s Supper Club in Palm Springs, CA, and Muriel’s Theatre in San Francisco, CA. He continues to be an owner in Muriel’s Jackson Square in New Orleans, LA, a $7+ million a year operation in the heart of the French Quarter, open since March 2001. In 2005, Josh planted his roots in Southern Delaware to enjoy the small-town beach life and opened Nage Restaurant. Over the years, he continued to grow his restaurant holdings with Nage in Washington DC, The Pantry at Nage, Big Chill Surf Cantina, Taco Reho Food Truck, three Crooked Hammock Brewery locations, Big Chill Beach Club, and most recently Taco Reho (Brick and Mortar). Today, Josh’s parent company, La Vida Hospitality Group, is the management company that focuses on the development of brands and operations for three core brands, including Crooked Hammock, Big Chill, and Taco Reho. The company employees 700 team members in busy the season and continues to grow. |
